How you pay
You don't pay for work you haven't received.
Consulting has a reputation for large retainers and thin deliverables. We bill the opposite way round, and it's written into our terms — not just said on a website.
- The consult is freeEvery project starts with a conversation at no cost. Scope, milestones and fees are agreed in writing before any work begins.
- Invoiced after approval, never beforeWork runs in defined milestones. An invoice is issued only once a milestone is complete, revised as reasonably needed, and approved by you.
- No deposits, no upfront feesNothing is charged for work that hasn't been delivered. If a milestone isn't reached, it isn't charged — even if work was done toward it.
- Revisions are includedReasonable revisions to reach the outcome we agreed on are part of the engagement, not a change order used to grow the invoice.
- Pro rata refundsIf a project can't be completed, you receive a pro rata refund for any milestone that was paid for but not delivered.
- Everything in writingFull scope, fees, currency, timelines and refund terms live in a written agreement and on our Terms & Conditions page.
Payments are handled securely by Stripe and PayPal. All fees are quoted and invoiced in Canadian dollars (CAD).
